Our Inspection Process

Every watch offered by Second Tick is individually reviewed before it is listed for sale. Our process is designed to present the product condition clearly, verify observable functionality where applicable, and provide customers with accurate information before purchase.

Visual Inspection

Each watch is visually examined for scratches, dents, wear, discoloration and other visible cosmetic details. Relevant observations are reflected in the product description, photographs and condition status whenever applicable.

Functionality Check

When applicable, we check the normal operation of the watch, including timekeeping, crown operation, button functions, display and general usability. Any significant functional issue identified during the review is disclosed in the product listing.

Condition Verification

Each watch is assigned a condition status based on its overall cosmetic appearance and observable condition at the time of inspection. New products are identified as unused, while pre-owned products receive a used condition grade.

• New — Unused and supplied in new condition, as described in the product listing.
• Used – Excellent — Minimal visible signs of previous use.
• Used – Good — Moderate cosmetic wear consistent with normal use.
• Used – Fair — Noticeable cosmetic wear while remaining suitable for everyday use.

Cleaning

When appropriate, watches are gently cleaned before packaging. Cleaning is cosmetic only and is not intended to restore, alter or misrepresent the original condition of the product.

Product Photography

Product photographs are prepared to represent the watch as accurately as possible. Minor variations in color or appearance may occur because of lighting conditions, camera settings or the customer’s screen display.

Final Order Verification

Before shipment, each order is reviewed to confirm that the correct product is being prepared and securely packaged for delivery.
